CHANGES OF THE LEVEL OF AIR POLLUTANTS CONCENTRATION IN MASOVIAN VOIVODESHIP
An assessment of the air pollution quality in Masovian Voivodeship was presented in this paper. The evaluation was based on the sets of long-term data coming from the national air monitoring network. Data gathered at several automatic air monitoring stations located in Masovian Voivodeship were used in the analysis. Concentrations of main air pollutants, like PM10, O3, CO, SO2, NOx, were considered. The basis for the calculations were long-term time series of hourly concentrations. Using these data, the monthly averages of concentration were calculated. Long-time trends of changes of concentrations levels were determined for each pollutant separately. Basing on the analysis of trends some possible future environmental threats were identified.
